HDR Pictures of Simpang Pulai Waterfall
I went to a waterfall located at Simpang Pulai, Ipoh yesterday. It was a bit of a scary experience as I had to go into the jungle to get to this waterfall.
The waterfall is situated near an Orang Asli (Native People) village. The place is great as it is not contaminated by the modern world and not many local people who know about the place.

HDR Picture of a Chair at Equatorial Hotel
I went to Cameron Highlands in January 2009. For those of you who do not know where it is, Cameron Highlands is located in the state of Pahang in Malaysia. Despite it being located in Pahang, the access to Cameron Highlands is from the state of Perak.
This is a picture of a garden chair right in front of the Equatorial Hotel, Cameron Highlands.

HDR Pictures of Kek Lok Tong Cave
I went to this cave in Ipoh called Kek Lok Tong Cave. It is a place of worship for the Chinese community in Ipoh. It also double as a recreation center where you can jog or just walk with your family.
Although I've been living in Ipoh for about 30 years, this is the first time ever I visited the place. It is a nice place to visit. The above HDR pictures are some of the statues and flowers available in the cave.

HDR Picture of A Very Old Drinking Water Tap
This is a picture of a very old washing and drinking water tap. The tap itself is rather big compared to the normal water tap available today.
If you look closely and carefully, there is a "WASTE NOT" carving on the tap. I think our modern tap should apply this technique of reminding people not to waste water.

HDR Picture of Taman Sri Botani
This picture was taken at Taman Sri Botani, Ipoh, yesterday at about 7 pm. When I arrived, I saw many kids playing kites. The scenery was beautiful with lots of kites flying around in the sky.
At 7 pm, the sky is beautiful because of the sunset. However, at that time, most people have started to return home and I only managed to snap this picture with only one kite in the sky.

HDR Picture of Ubudiah Mosque
Ubudiah Mosque is ranked as one of Malaysia's most beautiful mosques. Located in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, it has mesmerizing golden dome and minarets.
The design of the mosque was done by Arthur Benison Hubback, the government architect who is also credited for the Ipoh railway station design as well as the the Kuala Lumpur railway station.
It was built in 1911 during the reign of Sultan Idris Murshidul'adzam Shah 1 (the 28th Sultan of Perak). The mosque is located next to the Royal Mausoleum on Bukit Chandan.
In 1917, the mosque was finally completed with a cost of RM200,000 - rather pricey during that time.

HDR Pictures Of Taman Dr Seenivasagam In Ipoh
I went to Taman Dr Seenivasagam (Dr Seenivasagam Park) in Ipoh today. The Ipoh Municipal Council has refurbished the park and it is better than before. The air is cool, if you go there in the morning. The Japanese Park in the Taman Dr Seenivasagam is the major spot that has been refurbished.
The pond in the Japanese Park is filled with fish, the koi fish to be exact. We are allowed to feed the fish.

HDR Picture Of 2001 Ford Laser Lynx
This Ford Laser Lynx, was sold sold in Malaysia back in 2001. This particular Ford came with a Duratec engine, and the engine capacity of 1600cc.
This 2001 Ford is much better than the 1985 version. Of course it is much better because it is a newer car. But Ford build quality can be felt in both cars and they are both great.

HDR Picture of 1985 Ford
This Ford, is a car that was sold in Malaysia back in 1985. This particular Ford came with an engine capacity of 1300cc. There was also a 1500cc variant.
Despite this Ford being very old, it has served its owner and still is, with flying colors. Alright, maybe I'm exaggerating, but this Ford is still in working condition and it can go as fast as 150km/h! This is a fact where I was in the car when that happen.

HDR Picture of Kellie's Castle
Kellie's Castle is located in Batuh Gajah, Perak. Even though Kellie's Castle is not as as well known as the Taj Mahal in India, however there are some similarities between these two buildings, both in architecture as well as in the story of its building.
Kellie's Castle is built out of love, just like the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. While in the architecture, there is definitely some moghul influence visible because the brick and tiles came from India.

HDR Picture of the Chin Block
During my recent visit to the Tin Dredger in Batu Gajah, Perak, there is the oldest Chain Block I have ever seen. Most probably from the early 1900's.
I presume it is not functioning anymore, but who knows?
By the way, for those of you who do not know, Chain Block is a hoist equipment to lift heavy stuff.

An HDR picture of a dead tree in front of my house
This is an HDR photograph in front of my house. The moon was full on that day. So I prepped my tripod and my lovely Nikon to take a photograph of the full moon.
Unfortunately, as soon as I was ready, some cloud start to cloud the moon and this is the picture I manage to take.

HDR Picture of My Family and Tin Dredger
This is an HDR picture of my family and a Tin Dredger. For those of you who do not know what Tin Dredger is, it is actually a tin mining ship used those days in Malaysia for tin mining.
This Tin Dredger has been decommissioned years ago and it is now a tourist attraction in Batu Gajah in Perak, Malaysia. But I do not know how long it will a tourist attraction as about a quarter of the dredger is already sinking. This you can see in the picture.
